Wilshere ankle injury
Sounds dyer

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6165819/Jack-Wilshere-battle-fit-West-Hams-clash-Everton-suffering-ankle-injury.html

Pellegrini will be desperately hoping that the problem is not a recurrence of the serious ankle injuries that plagued Wilshere's career at Arsenal. The 26-year-old midfielder has missed more than 150 games through injury since his debut in 2008.

Sounds like a screw that was inserted in his ankle as part of a previous operation has come loose. Not heard tha one before. Can't we sue someone for negligence?

Write him off playing wise.
He should have only ever been offered a performance related contract.
Absolute fucking madness to give him three years.
Id love to know what that was based on.

eusebiovic

the issue is the contract, the owners supposedly offered him a one year deal, rolling, which would've been fair IMO. The manager convinced them to offer 3 years.

Melt the cunt down and turn him into something more useful.

Like a fucking ashtray or something. Diabolical signing on the evidence presented so far.

Big Andy. He's in training & his right (pint lifting) arm is getting stronger by the day (or rather late night)

Expected to be available for selection, just before his next injury

Was going to comment but haven't had an
injury that stopped me playing Sunday morning football plus I'm not proper west ham.

Re: Wilshere ankle injury
People are being too down on him, but yes, he does need to up his game. If Rice, Noble and Obiang maintain the standard they set at Everton, it's going to be a challenge for Jack to get back in the side, but it's a squad game - there will be injuries and suspensions.

This was always a when not an if.Why do we never learn even when the obvious is slapping us in the face.

Re: Wilshere ankle injury
Two possibilities - he's aggravated an existing issue, or it's a new injury.

I hope it's the former, that this is the reason he's been pretty poor so far, and that he makes as complete a recovery as possible.

Re: Wilshere ankle injury
Had Wilshere been fit would he have played on Sunday and would we have won?

Seems like when he is next fit we need to pay him not to play.

Re: Wilshere ankle injury
who said he's on a pay as you play deal? that's the reason he left arsenal because they offered him a lesser contract with bonuses if the cunt stayed fit

boltkunt 11:58 Tue Sep 18
Re: Wilshere ankle injury
We signed him on a free and pay as you play deal.

Plus he played 43 times last season. Was a no brainer to sign him.

Re: Wilshere ankle injury
I can't remember the tendon issue he suffers from (Alan posted about it a few weeks ago), but it never completely heals and so he'll always be prone to other injuries. we shouldn't have touched him with a barge pole

Willtell 10:20 Tue Sep 18
Re: Wilshere ankle injury
FMOB fellas! At least we have a quality option in midfield. He is injury prone is the reason we got him on the cheap but teh club did spend £110m so had to get someone on a free and he will be back quite quickly.

On the positive side, his injury proves Noble still has some use and allows Rice and Obiang to blossom so that we hopefully don't miss him while he's out...
